Exceptional Leader

Leadership really involves the sure ability to help make change happen. Exceptional leader find balance between abilities, behaviors and traits. At some point these things become determining factors for the leader. This will help them influence the people that we serve in the organization as well as the people we work closely with daily. I feel as though the most effective quality a leader should have is hi/her ability to be competent to this point of helping the team ascertain the stated goals. Being an effective leader I would make sure that the ideas that I have formulated for the team have been conveyed properly. Knowing that being a leader you have to display confidence and always be honest as you can. I will always have to have a mindset that will facilitate commitment. I understand that being a leader, it starts with developing a clear vision, a passion on how the organization should look now and in the future. Effective leadership starts with me being able to believe in myself. The vision that I have should be clear; this will help me to be able to motivate, instill good work ethics and have a great team. I have to understand the entire organizational environment and be able to transform and all situations. Combined with growth, as a leader I should have the confidence to take necessary risks for the good of the organization. As the leader of the organization, I have to believe in the people that I sere and also the people that I work with day-to-day. No matter what the situation, I will have to be able to communicate my ideas clearly and be able to commit to each and every outcome. I will have to transform my ways of thinking to make sure that I am reinforcing the policies and procedures to the employees. As the leader, I will have to achieve tough, demanding goals that have set in an addition to those that have been set by the organization, and keep my focus on getting both objectives accomplished.

I feel as though the leadership characteristics that I possess is a good representation of who I am and the type of leader that I am becoming. I will be the leader that I am because of the events that have happened in my life (i.e., influences from my family and friends, religious affiliations, and my education. I have been able to effectively recognize these leadership values. They have helped me to develop clear, concise and a meaningful set of values and good priorities. Being a leader, there is really know specific formula that one should follow. Leadership means to me that I am responsible for the people that I serve and for the people that are a part of my team. I have to make the right decisions for the right reasons. The type of leader that I wish to become is a leader that understands the personal values of others, to be trusting of the vision that I have established and making sure that the mission is not impossible!!
