Dear Family,

Well i think it is goodbye now. I wish i could tell you the whole story, but i don’t have enough time to. So i will stay with the main reasons why i must die.

As I was on my way to the planet Mimir I was shocked to see that there is going to be and EDS sent out to Woden, where Gerry is stationed. Even though I did know that i would have to pay for it, I snuck into the ship. I did not know some of the important things about EDS’ before I got on like the limited fuel supply on the ship, and that the EDS’ mission was to take medical supplies to group one not group two where Gerry was at. The groups were also so spread out that the helicopters group two had could not reach where group one is at. Now I must mention that the fuel is only meant for it to take the weight of the ship and the objects inside to and from its destination. Since I am added weight the ship might not make it back to the stardust. This would cost me later on. Now the captain of the ship’s name is Barton. He is an ok guy. Not too mean, but is assertive and convincing. He told me that he had done this before (killed a stowaway). Although it had never been a girl before. Let alone a young girl such as I. When I asked him if there was anyway for me to live he said that he had done all that i can. That would be calling the stardust to talk to the commander and see if there was anything that he could do. There wasn’t. Not even a single ship was within a lightyear from us. Plus the stardust can’t come and get us because it is on a tight schedule, and can’t be late.

Anyways I would really like to tell everybody that I love them and that I am going to miss them. Remember that I wanted to meet back up with Gerry because I love him just like I love all of you.

With Love, Marilyn
