You are asked by an organisation to prepare a report on marketing for a skeptical client. The client is 'Bathurst Carbon Cutters' (BCC),who provide share bikes. The share bike concept involves a number of push bikes being placed around the Bathurst CBD and the University so that people can ride around town rather than drive. The concept is simple: a person becomes a member, gets a key, hires the bike via the internet site and rides instead of driving. However, the board of BCC think that marketing is detrimental to the environment and do not feel marketing can help in promoting the share bike concept. Hence, before they go forward, they need you to explain marketing in a report. In the report you should:
