The 2016 Presidential election in the United States has ended and Donald Trump has occurred as the winner. On November 9th 2016 Donald Trump gave his victory speech. He was presented by Mike Pence who is his running mate and was accompanied by his family. We can say that Donald Trump is the sender because he is holding the speech and he speaks to his fellow Americans who voted for him and therefore they are the receivers of the speech, maybe not just the people who voted for him but in general all Americans that voted. It does not matter that they did not vote for him because he is still going to be America’s next president and therefore they would probably want to hear what he has to say for the people of the United States. I would argue that the text is explicit because it is a speech and he does not say anything between the lines he just thanks his voters and talks about making America great again and mentions renewing the American Dream and that they together will begin the task of rebuilding their nation.
Donald Trump is a real estate developer and was born in 1946, in Queens, New York. In 1980, he opened the Grand Hyatt, and became the city’s best developer. Trump has also appeared in reality series. Donald Trump became interested in politics and in 2015 he revealed that he would be running for president for the United States on the Republican Party. After winning the primaries and caucuses, Trump became the formal Republican candidate for president. And this November Trump was elected as the 45th President of the United States.
