It has been more than a year since officials from Israeli and Palestinian have met. The officials met in Amman, Jordan, on December 27, 2011. The officials have talked about the difficulties of making peace with Israelis and Palestinians. The officials also talked about how political Islam can become a potentially transformative force in the region. Mr. Haniya’s point was that the upheaval in the Middle East had led to the emergence of political Islam. That, in turn, could create difficult choices for the Palestinians, as well as for the Jordanians and the Israelis, that could unite — or divide — them. The meeting was highly unpopular in the West Bank and Gaza, where it was viewed as caving in to the Israel. In fact, Israeli security chiefs are warning that the country faces severe challenges on multiple fronts
The information can affect many of the citizens in Israel and Palestine. The citizens may choose to unite with one another to become a more political Islam. However this information could divide the citizens up amongst themselves. This could lead to violence or even riots. The officials have talked about the difficulties of making peace with Israelis and Palestinians. The officials also talked about how political Islam can become a potentially transformative force in the region. The issue is not just a strategic but ideological and political, perhaps the hardest to overcome. This issue should best be dealt with politicians to help unite the citizens under one nation.
