I’m going to star with some number :

Area total : 756,096,3 klm

  Chile was first discover by Magellan in 1520; it’s a very long country with a big chain of mointain : the cordillera of the Andes, a desert : the Atacama desert.

Most of the Chilean population live on the cost.

As we saw it in clase we can divide it in 5 big section : the extreme north  ( wo board   Peru en Bolivia), the north   the center  the south and the extreme south ( all boarded by Argentina ) .

Extreme north : border with Peru city: Arica a fishing town and agricultural .

                             2 biggest city in the extreme north  Iquique (it was before a fishing town, but now it’s essentially now for is tourism ).

The largest city in this part : Antofagasta , a mining town well now for is coper mine , were the ibp/hab is double by contrast  of  the other town in Chilean near this town you have the most famous coper mine : tuticabara  who start it more tha a 100 year ago .

An other defining aspect of this Area is the San pedro desert and is well now oasis Pica ( who produce mostly lemon an mango ) you although ha the big observatory : capacuaro

 In the north:

We have the city name copacourp : an other mining town and a big producer of grapes .

 Las erena: is the biggest city of this section , funded by the Spanish and one of the oldest city in Chile. And close to it you have the well now pisco valley.

  Th city of Sapalla defined by tourism and to be a surf spot  .

The center of the Chile :

Whe it’s located the capital of the country : Santiago  ( was funded by Spanish ).

You although have Valparaiso the second main city of this part  and  it’ the port of Santiago ( although notice to be a huge place of the Graph culture )

And you have of course the Palm tree reserve of Ocoa.

South center :

Define by it’s high rain  (2000 mlm ) , and that why the forest was destroy by the palm tree exploitation.

 But closer to the city of Lanahue (place of water ? ) , and is big lake lake close to the ocean they have make here a reservation for tree .

When the Spanish funded Villa rica it was for the mineral but they where not so easy to take .and other particularity of this city is to be located near an active volcano and is   mountain lake.                         Pucon :A very big tourism destination thanks to is volcano and is know to be a sport paradise
