My Story
August 5, 1938-
Life is great! Money is flowing, my family is ecstatic as ever and I couldn’t ask for anything better. Hello my name is John Abramo; I was born on March 9, 1898 in Paris, France. I have a beautiful family, a wife named Adina and two wonderful children Jacob and David, both are twins and have been inseparable from the very beginning. We are proud to be Orthodoxy Jews and we follow our religion with great faith and practice. My children are thirteen years old and both are top of their class with grades. I couldn’t be anymore proud of them. As for my wife, and me we own a will of to do clothing store in Paris. Sales are going through the roof, profit is soaring and I couldn’t be happier. We are a very humble family when it comes to money, but I will say that we are well off and our family has great connections. The way life is going right now I wouldn’t trade it for anything. To be honest, I’m not entirely sure why I began to write in a journal. As I get older, memory starts to fade away and it would be great to look back at my entries and recap my history from the first day I started.

I have been growing steadily weary about Adolf Hitler and how powerful Germany is becoming. Hitler is being able to rally hundreds of thousands of men and women to his speeches. He continues to talk about how he will make Germany the superpower that it once was. He has this type of demeanor that everyone is in love with. He keeps on putting the blame on Jewish people, the weak, the gays, and gypsies that we were the reasons why Germany fell during World War 1. I believe that he has nowhere to put the blame on so he is brain washing the people of Germany into thinking that a specific group of people have derailed the once all mighty Germany. But otherwise from that business is still good my family and I took a great vacation to Espana, I want to show my children that traveling the world is very important for education. I tell them that you can meet new people, see how different cultures interact with each other, and see the different lifestyles different countries offer. We just returned back to Paris and it back off to school for them and back to work for my Wife and I.

After coming back from a wonderful trip from Espana I have just been recently told that 15,000 Jews have been expelled from Germany without any warning. They were forcibly transported by train in boxcars then dumped at the Polish border. I don’t know what this means but I hope it doesn’t get ay worse than that.
November 9, 1938-
There has been a massive, coordinated attack on Jews throughout the German Reich. Violence broke out as the regular German police stood by and crowds of spectators watched. Nazi storm troopers along with members of the SS and Hitler’s young soldiers beat and murdered Jews, broke into and wrecked Jewish homes, and brutalized Jewish women and children. 91 Jewish men and women were killed during this. This is outrageous! War has to be the Brink how can this go on like this.
