I think, Product recalls and product quality problems are a part of pursuing a low cost country strategy. Because, If you lower the price in every field of the marketting place you probably use low quality products. So it is going to effect both main company and Manufacturing company. Actually,it was happend same as in Mattel’ company. They can be right for using this strategy, but they also need to cosider about buyers part. Because ıf you buy something from the company which is not in your in country (like in China in that case), Some problems will be accour. So the best think Mattel should do is, work with manufactur company more than the price they use, plus the quality of product is going to increase. And they going to work good in both side and everyone will be happy.

2_) Whether it is lead paint on toys or defective sliding sides on baby cribs, ı think both side has to take responsibility for that process. As we know Mattel is the main company but they need to take control of the manufactur country in China. Because ıf something goes wrong back in China everything is going to mees up. Both sides has to take care each other at the same time.

3_) My wiev of point is, China does not have the major point. I mean, they have important role in this process but not like Mattel’s company. It is all about working together. Co-operation is important at that point, as ı said before there is going to be nothing without both sides. Plus Mattel’s company is tha main company, they should check every process of work including shipping.
