The book Rereading America: Cultural Contexts for Critical Thinking and Writing is based on the cultural values, family and education. Its content has different authors and writers. On this book, whoever reads it will definitely understand what the author says and what they intend to say. Each subject or topic is full of inspiring words that every reader can internalize and be overwhelmed in each topic. This book can be read anywhere as long as anyone has it. Its different category can make every reader’s interest grow and grow until it reaches the end topic of the book.

        The author uses the rhetorical devices on this book because he want the readers to pursue their readings up to the very end. Using variety of emotions and words that can linger into one’s attention is a plus. The rhetoric device that the author uses is important when it comes to books. Every reader will not get interested in reading something when there is nothing interesting things or topic included. Most of the readers want to explore a book with fear, excitement, happiness, sadness, thrill, and adventure feelings. The Rereading America is a book of different essays on which the author had used rhetorical devices to make this book a great one.

        There is one excerpt from the book that most readers had noticed about. According to E. J. Graff’s response on the “What makes a family” content, no one should take a grasp of family history when they forgot what family means. On this response, the author of the content uses some rhetorical devices that makes this reader’s response intense. The response on this content is positively describes about what family is all about and looking back on some family history can never be understood unless the one who reads it had fully understand what “familyword means. This topic can create an argumentative approach which will make the content more interesting.
