Does the US History begin in 1607? This is a question that many of us have asked ourselves. We were taught since childhood that the beginning of the United States started when Jamestown was first established. And the thirteen colonies were all settled. But was that the reality of the history.
In reality the US History does not begin in the year 1607 when the English founded Jamestown and the colonies. The US History begins way before that time. Even before Christopher Columbus discovered America. The reality is that it begins when the Indians or Native Americans migrated to what we now call United States. The Indians were the first ones to discover America. The Indians were already established here. Conquistadores and sailors who came to the New World in search of fortune and others who came in religious missions were witnesses that Indians were here first. And that the United States did not begin in the Jamestown era. It is said that the Indians migrated to the United States during the Bering Strait. It is said that when the ice age happened the Indians migrated over and began to establish themselves all around the US.
