- The majoritarianism theory suggests that citizens are entitled to making decisions about their society based on a majority-vote. Elitism consists of the few powerful/wealthy individuals being the dominant element in society. Pluralism defines two or more groups of government officials arguing to the benefit of their own parties. As time goes by, it becomes quiet evident that Americans live in an Elitist society. They control what you watch, what you eat, how you’re entertained, who you’re entertained by, and how you think. The Elite provide citizens with the illusion of inclusion with voting when government officials have already been preselected. Then when something goes wrong they’ll say, “Well… you voted for him.” Nice trick, Rothschild and friends.
- In the opinion of the writer, individualism is one of the most important aspects of being human. Having a unique identity is a basic human desire that is gradually flushed out during “traditional” school. Our children are too easily pushed to be like everyone else, screw that. Let’s face facts, equality is an illusion that needs to be let go. Not to say that things need to return to the ways of the 1800’s, people should just be more realistic. Yes, humans are essentially the same in many ways, but the vast differences can’t be ignored for the sake of saving face. True equality is something humans will never be able to fully achieve because it’s not realistic to think that we are physically, mentally, emotionally, or sexually equal.
- Unalienable rights consists of a humans rights upon birth, such as the right to life, the right to be free within society without the pressure of an oppressive government, and the right the live life in a way that makes you happy, as long as it isn’t illegal and doesn’t violate the rights of other humans. The social contract is the governments agreeance to uphold and protect these basic rights. For example, Person A is walking down the street minding your business, but Person B, who gets his joy out of killing others, comes by and shoots Person A to death. Person has grossly Person A’s right to live and happiness. To somewhat remedy the situation, the government will find Person B and lock him away to bring justice in honor of Person A and to prevent Person B from killing anyone else.
- Changes, or Amendments, have to be proposed and ratified. The House of Representatives and the Senate have to approve a proposal by the supermajority vote, then two thirds of the state legislatures ask Congress to call a national convention to propose the amendments, then three fourths of the state legislators must approve it and the amendment then becomes ratified. This process was intentionally made difficult to make sure everyone was in agreeance and on the same page.
- Federalism was meant to spread out power within the nation. Local governments govern counties/cities. State government rules over it’s own state, and national government governs the nation as a whole. It was meant to keep corruption out of the government, but has not done a great job of doing that since federalism started.
