28 Days Later

As I opened my eyes, my vision blurred. I was laying down in a room. I can’t think of anything and I’m feeling lost. My body was filled with sweat. Tubes and wires were attached to me. I can’t hear anything except the machinery and the broken light circuit. Trying to sit up and gain control of my body, I was too weak for it. As I slowly detached the tubes and wires my nerves comes back and I began to feel the stinging pain of the needle. I could smell my rusty blood as I detach it, with all the machinery around me I have realised that I am in a hospital. I panicked and tried walking, even though my legs were still numb. As I touch the floor, it was rough and cold my feet couldn’t bare it making my leg to shake. But I had no other choice. I went toward the window and shouted “HELLO!!!”  It echoed everywhere but there wasn’t any reply. Curiosity began to fill me up, forcing me to get out of the room. I touched the cold metal door handle and furiously tried opening the door, but it wasn’t open. It was locked…

My heart stopped for a moment.I banged on the door hoping someone to come and rescue me. But It was useless. I rested my back on the door and slowly falls down to the ground. My head hurts a lot and my vision starts to blur again. I was about to pass out, until I see a shiny silver metal object. It was a key. As I unlocked the door, I immediately step outside because I was scared. Then I remembered I was naked. I wondered around the hall trying to find something to cover my naked body. Then I saw an unused set of scrub. I was dirty, but I have no choice, it’s the only way to cover my nudity. I headed down the corridor and I checked the ground floor. Everything was disarrayed, I limped towards the payphones. The phone handle wasn’t placed properly. I shouted “HEELLLOO” and again there was no reply. I saw vending machines but it was all destroyed and  the food were all over the place, it was like a blessing for me to see food like that. I’ve never felt so happy because i couldn’t handle the thirst. I suddenly felt in my throat I opened the cola can, and feast on it like a hungry grizzly bear.  I decide to take a few food and drinks with me.

I finally escaped the dusty, arid ,and stinging air of the hospital and went into a more friendly and even more quiet at the outside of the hospital. I wondered across the entrance. It seemed to be very weird. There was no ambulance that is active they all stood still and had their door wide opened as if something scary haunted  them.  The hospital was a real mess. I decided to walk toward the  West Minster bridge crossing the great river Thames.  And yet again it felt weird because London is usually a busy city no matter what time of the day or night is it. The sun slowly rise and the air was calm and hazy filled with the colour Crayolas. And the river Thames stayed quiet for sometimes, there wasn’t any current or any wave made by the water. And there was no yacht or boat going across it.  Then i saw a huge pile right in front of me. It was a key-chain and the union jack flag i had to go over it, as i slowly limped toward the pile of rubbish i noticed that i could  hear the Big Ben ticking and the Eye of London wasn’t moving at all. And just limped toward the end of the West Minster bridge.
