Howard Schultz was born in 1953. He is best known as the chairman and CEO of Starbucks. Schultz was the 14th on the Forbes Executive Pay in 2010 and the 354th richest person in the United States, with a net worth of $1.1 billion dollars in 2006 by Forbes Magazine
Starbucks is the largest coffeehouse company in the world, it was founded in 1971. It has over sixteen thousand eight hundred and fifty-five stores in 50 countries.
Daily Activities
Schultz usually gets up between 5:00 and 5:30, the first thing is making a cup of coffee. He will read <Seattle Times> <Wall Street Journal> and <New York Times> during the breakfast time. At same time, he also will listen to voice mail about the sales summary of the past 24 hours. This is Schultz’s tradition in 25 years.
In the morning, Schultz usually focuses on Europe. He will call managers in Greece, Spain, and some other European areas when he is at home or on the way to work. He will ask questions about operation data or congratulate them about good performance.
