In the book huckleberry Finn, Mark twain creates two lively characters by the name of Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer. Huck, being the main character of the book is shown more throughout the book. Yet Tom still shows up adding some contrasting views to what Huck sees. Huck is more a to-the-point type of guy where Tom makes things as elaborate as possible. Huck also experiences a Dynamic change in the middle of the book, while tom stays pretty much the same thought the book.

Tom also thinks he is doing it the right way by making it more complicated then it needs to be as shown in the quote "'it aint no use to try to learn you nothing Huck. So run along and smooch the knives, three of them.' So I done it." Tom is referring to when Huck and tom are trying to get Jim out of slavery. Tom thinks they need to make everything harder, such as having Jim write in his own blood for a foolish reason just because it say so in the "books." In this situation
