Philippine World Class Artist

  • María Lea Carmen Imutan Salonga KLD (born February 22, 1971), better known as Lea Salonga, is a Filipina singer and actress best known for her roles in musical theatre, for supplying the singing voices of two Disney Princesses, and as a recording artist and television performer, especially in the Philippines.

Large Group Instruments

  • Orchestra – is a large group of musician playing different instruments
  • Conductor – the main coordinator of the orchestra
  • Baton – is a stick hold by the conductor to emphasize hand movement well.

String Instruments

  • Violin – is the smallest member of the orchestra
  • Viola – is the alto member of the string section
  • Violoncello – is the bass member of the violin family

Woodwind

  • Flute – is made of wood but today it is made of metal and has the highest pitch in the woodwind section

  • Picollo – is a half size woodwind instrument of the orchestra and plays higher and shriller notes

Brass

  • Trumpet – is made of a coiled metal tube about 130 cm long and has the highest pitch sound
  • Horn – also known as French Horn is made of coiled metal tube nearly four meters long and plays the lower melody
  • Trombone – is played like trumpet and produce lower sound than the trumpet
  • Tuba – is the largest and heaviest of brass instrument
    PERCUSSION
  • It means striking at each other, shaken or scraped, and others are struck by a mallet

Percussion with Indefinite Sound

  • Timpani – is also known as kettle drum is a set of bowl-shaped drum struck by mallets.
  • Bass drum – is the biggest drum in an orchestra
  • Cymbals – are two metal plates clashed together.
  • Tambourine – is a small drum with single head fastened to narrow wooden frame
  • Triangle – is a steel instrument bent in the shape of triangle with one corner left open.

Percussion with Definite Pitch

  • Xylophone – is consists of hardwood bard laid out like a keyboard and set in a frame and struck by a mallet.
  • Marimba – is similar to a  xylophone in construction but with larger resonators and usually made of metal
  • Vibraphone – it resembles like a xylophone in appearance but the bars are made of metal
  • Tubular Bells – are made of long tubes of brass which are struck with a mallet to stimulate the sound of bells

Rules of Photography

  • Decorations – are the things on the location and set of the movie that surround the character.
  • Staging – involves the placing and movement of actors in relation to other actors.
  • Cinematography – is achieved through the artistic use of the camera.
  • Distance – is the space interval between the camera and the subject.
  • Editing – is a technical process of putting a movie together.
  • Sound design – is the interrelationship of sounds and silences in a movie.

SOCCER

1904
The Federation International de Football Association (FIFA) was formed in Paris on May 21. Charter members included: France, Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. The International Board, the authority over the rules and their interpretation continued under the jurisdiction of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales, even though they were not affiliated with FIFA. The Olympic Games of 1904 in St. Louis included soccer as an official Olympic sport where club teams competed under the national team banner. FIFA did not become active in Olympic soccer until 1908.
