South Korea's Lotte World is the world's largest indoor theme park. It was built on July 12, 1989. It covers an area of 40,00 pings and the total area of 180,000 pings. Lotte World is located in the heart of Seoul and it is close to Metro Line 2 Jamsil Station so the transportation is very convenient. The ownership and operator of the theme park are Lotte Group. Lotte Group has built and invested about 650 billion won in Lotte World. Lotte Group also has other business units such as hotels, electronics, candy manufacturing, etc.
As the world's largest indoor theme park, Lotte world can attract around 8 million visitors every year. Lotte world was developed as a new conception “another city in a city”. Lotte World is playing a role as a future city designed to provide a one-stop solution for leisure, sightseeing, shopping, accommodations. So that Lotte world not only have many amusement facilities but also the boutique shops, department stores, ice rink, Folk Museum, etc. Lotte World is divided into Lotte World Adventure, a world themed indoor area, and Magic Island theme outdoors. Each part has their special thing, for example, Folk Museum was designed for foreign tourists.Folk Museum is divided into historical display Museum and model village so that you can enjoy the game and understanding of South Korea nearly five thousand years of history and culture at the same time. At the end of the play, you can enjoy the fun of Seoul shopping trip. Furthermore, they also have a colourful indoor laser show at the night to give a tourist have a good ending in the trip. Therefore, it is very suitable for a family to visit.
