Product Overview:

Avaya web. alive is a net meeting application tool that allows users to communicate and collaborate on a one to one basis or as groups. Virtual Systems is a suite of different tools to help manage printing, mailing, data analysis, web fulfillment.

Web page Presentation and Usability:

Avaya web. alive has an inviting and elegant look; the site is not overloaded with information. The sites catch phrase “Collaborate with colleagues in an immersive world”, followed by an interesting picture of people interacting with each other, caught my attention immediately and enticed me to learn more about the application. The site look organizes by product categories. It also offered Brochures, Quick fact sheet and a video illustration of the product that was entertaining and informational. Avaya’s website did a terrific job, describing the products, and their usability, with clear user-friendly verbiage. I found the site to be user friendly and easy to navigate.

Virtual Systems Website is not as sophisticated in appearance as Avaya web.alive, but in some ways, it is more appealing visually because of the icons and explosion of color used. Although they saturate the main page with information, it is well organized and not overwhelming for the user. The banner near the top of the page showing 4 different screens of the tool is nice, and the fact that you can schedule a demonstration of the products is a bonus. I think the site did a terrific job describing its product, but what I like the most is that it shows user all the potential issues that can be eliminated by using its products. The site was very user-friendly and easy to navigate.
