Homework Instructions
- All Home work assignments are INDIVIDUAL assignments.
- A score of 80% on homework will earn you full credit for the homework and anything less than 80% will earn proportionate credit. (Thus, if myfinancelab scores you at 60% for a homework, your actual grade for the homework for the purposes of this class will be 75/100; if myfinancelab gives you 40%, your grade for the homework will be 50/100 and so on)
- You can practice similar problems in the study plan of My Finance Lab. Chapter end problems of the text are available.
- You can make multiple attempts at the assignment.
- You can also make multiple attempts at the questions by clicking on “Similar Exercise” at the bottom right hand corner. Click Save button after solving each question.
Frequently Asked Questions by Students:
We have received a few questions regarding the homework assignments. Please note the following clarifications:
Q. After two incorrect attempts, I am being asked to choose a hint to re-attempt the question though I believe that we are allowed unlimited attempts.
A. You can make multiple attempts at the questions by clicking on “Similar Exercise” at the bottom right hand corner of each question. The question will be reset and you can get full credit by choosing this option.
Q. While the homework says that you have unlimited chances it is forcing me to choose a hint while I don’t want to.
A. This feature is built into the system. You will lose marks for more than 2 attempts and/or taking hints (in the same attempt of the homework). If you score too low then you can click on the “Similar Exercise” button and do the question again.
Q. Can we keep saving the homework in multiple stages? Like I start doing it in parts now and submit n Sunday.
A. Yes, MFL saves your work if you go to some other question or leave MyFinanceLab automatically. But save it anyway.
