Ebenezer Scrooge, who meets the three spirits, is the main character of the story. He loves money and is a selfish man. The three spirits come to tell Scrooge about his past, present and future. After Scrooge meets with the three spirits, he realizes he should change his mind and his attitude towards his surrounding people.

It seems like a ghost story, but it isn't. From this story, Scrooge has a chance to realize his "bad" attitude lead to a sad consequence. However, in real life, it seems that impossible for us to meet those three spirits and see what we did in the past. Sometimes, due to our mood or behavior, we just say or do "something" that hurt our friends and family. If we don't think of the others' feelings, will keep hurting them, just like Scrooge. We may have a same future with Scrooge.

What can we do to avoid having a same future with Scrooge? To change our character or behavior is quite difficult. What we can do is to think about the others feelings and what is the consequence before we say "something" or do "something" to the others. We can introspect ourselves to see which part we can done better. Everyone needs respect. If we can respect the others and care about them, they will also respect you. Don't just think of money. There are more important things than money. Just take action! Whatever the little effort you pay, you can build a better relationship with others and avoid being Scrooge.
