Individual background:
I see myself as a different person compared to others because I have experienced a lot of setbacks and tried to give up myself in the past, and I used to think that life is so unfair since some people get a better life than others. However, I recently realized that the God's will which is there are a lot of barriers and I will have to overcome them all to achieve success. In the past, I faced four failures in public examinations (I had repeated twice in public exams) which made me think that I have never got academically succeeded; maybe the institutional arrangements are not suitable for me. Comparably, my work experiences went smoothly. I had three jobs and the nature of them was different. The first job was a marketing assistant in a property industry which was mainly responsible for contacting the property owners regularly, updating the market information and providing clerical supports. The second job was being an activity organizer in the Government which should assist the supervisor to plan and execute the swimming courses and activities, contact and liaise with part-time workers; allocate, control and keep record of the swimming aids and handle enquires and complaints. The third job was a sales executive in the bank, the main responsibilities were to promote banking products, keep in touch with customers and handle enquires and complaints. Working in bank was a valuable experience, I feel that I have found the right job for my future and it relates to my career development.
