ARTICLE 1 : The Influence Of Internal And Extenal Firm Factors On International Product Adaptation Strategy And Export Performance: A Three Country Comparison

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of internal and external factors of a firm's product adaptation strategy and its actual relationship either positive or negative with export performance, with help from some model and data collected from three countries compared to get the results in this study.

The author expressed that there is a need for this research in order to show that in international marketing the importance of product adaptation strategy and its performance, considering the type of effect positive or negative of product adaptation strategy on export performance. The author has found a positive link between the adaptation of the product and its performance. Besides, contradictory and confusing results have emerged from the literature, turning marketers decision making into a difficult course of action. This discrepancy clamors for the development of more concise and accurate theories, methods, and strategic frameworks, since marketers need to understand under which circumstances, each strategy turns out to be more suitable, and under which conjunctures such strategies lead to positive performance.

It is a worthwhile study because of this article as a reader, I came to know there is such relationship with product adaptation strategy and export performance in Marketing related information.

This article is an Empirical study, which conducted based on company experience from three different countries. The previous study did not manage to get such relationship. This is from data collection and not continuous from previous study.

My suggestion to improve this paper is to do better measurement criteria because the reliability is below the level of 0.70, or else author should conduct studies in Asian country to get some similarity and ease the issue of cross cultural measurement. The suitable target audience for this article is for Marketing students, managers in logistic company or marketing and professionals because this is depth about marketing issues and they able to tackle issues if arise.
