ASML is a Dutch company which manufactures machines for the production of integrated circuits (ICs). They have vision stated that enable the affordable microelectronic that improve quality life which to success the vision they have a mission stated that to invent, develop, manufacture and service advanced technology for high-tech lithography, metrology and software solutions for the semiconductor industry and also the goals they made is Developing and retaining our talented and highly skilled professionals is one of the top priorities guiding our HR strategy. For the strategy ASML using 6 steps which are; first, Staffing: they establish all activities related to the strategic workforce planning, connected to ASML's customers’ roadmaps, and based on the diversity of our workforce in all its aspects (e.g. age, gender, cultural background, life stage). When staffing their teams ensure they have the right person in the right place at the right time. Second, development: They ensure that the current and future capabilities required to enable ASML’s business strategy and long term employability of their people are identified and maintained. The aim is to allow mutually beneficial organizational and personal goals to be achieved. Third , employability: Employability in their company refers to a sustainable, social contract between ASML and its employees, in which the employees are stimulated to add value (in the short term as well as in the long term) inside the company (or eventually outside the company), by developing themselves in an environment that corresponds with their ambitions and talents. Fourth, inspirational leadership: their leaders have the right intent and inspirational capability to engage people beyond the level of normal contribution. Fifth, physical work environment: ASML ensure that their employees and other relevant stakeholders are provided with optimal opportunities to travel safely and have an effective workplace at an ASML office location. Lastly, community involvement: they enable employees to contribute to wider society and increase employee awareness in the area of sustainability.

ASML business model based on outsourcing production of a significant part of the components and modules that comprise our lithography systems, working in partnership with suppliers from all over the world. ASML manufacturing activities comprise the subassembly and testing of certain modules and the final assembly and fine tuning / testing of a finished system from components and modules that are manufactured to our specifications by third parties and by us. All of their manufacturing activities (subassembly, final assembly and system fine tuning / testing) are performed in cleanroom facilities located in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, in Wilton, Connecticut, the United States and in Linkou, Taiwan. They procure stepper and scanner system components and subassemblies from a single supplier or a limited group of suppliers in order to ensure overall quality and timeliness of delivery. They jointly operate a formal strategy with suppliers known as "value sourcing", which is based on competitive performance in quality, logistics, technology and total cost. The essence of value sourcing is to maintain a supply base that is world class, globally competitive and globally present.
