Experiential Exercise:

Through the Experiential Exercise survey on our textbook, each team member took the survey. Among all of us, Yuan ranks the highest and got 51 out of total 60. Yueting got the lowest points 39. The rest of the three members Ying, Yufei and Cong scored 43, 46 and 46 respectively. According to the scoring and interpretation, only Yuan in our group can be evaluated to have a strong entrepreneurial IQ. All four others whose score ranking from 39-46 are treated to have good entrepreneurial possibilities.

When we going back over each question, Yueting thought she would like to change the characters mentioned in question 5, 3, 8, 2, 6, 1, 7 and 4 to be a more entrepreneurial leader. Cong would like to improve on her abilities to take more risks and be more stubborn. Ying thought sometimes, because she is so focused on getting things done,she does not really want to get well with normal talented people. She considered to learn how to communicate with the entire employee. Even though she knows only a team can make a person, she still prefers to do things by myself which take a lot time and reduce the time she can learn new things. Yufei is not a very insistent person. He admitted that he would easily give up his New Year’s resolution. This year he said he wanted to at least realize one of his resolutions, which is getting his H1B working visa. Yuan said he would like to be more of a risk-taker as to be a successful entrepreneurial. The higher risk he would like to take, the more possible he can be success. A career in a startup might be more suitable for him rather than stay in a large corporation. Yuan would like to be less entrepreneurial as a major obstacle may indicate a false direction when facing a life-changing decision. He also wants to be less persistent may help with asking for advice from people around.
