1.0        INTRODUCTION

1.1        BACKGROUND OF THE COMPANY

Bahulu Shoppe is a shop that manufactures and distributes food products, traditional and modern. Company located in the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Kayangan and parliament Kangar, Perlis. This business is 100% ownership of Bumiputera it was have a husband and wife, Mr. Abdul Hamit bin Majid and Mrs. Norma Binti Husin. In 2005, the business began to perform processing bahulu cakes at home on a small scale with its own start-up capital of RM2000.00. After a year of running a home business, the business has been well received and led to the owners met the Muda Agricultural Development Authority (MADA) for assistance such as business premises.

This business was officially established on December 15, 2006 located at Km 1, Jalan Syed Alwi, Kangar 01000, Perlis dealing with office MADA (C1) Kangar, Perlis. After receiving help and guidance equipment of MADA, Bahulu Shoppe now stands before you have a shop to process and sell bahulu and also traditional cakes around Perlis. This business operates every day except Sundays and public holidays from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm. Moreover, the employee gets wages in Bahulu Shoppe of 15 employee for processing bahulu and manage the business paid RM30.00 per day. 1.2        CURRENT PERFORMANCE

Agro Usahahawan under MADA is a group of individuals or groups whose activities add to the value of agricultural raw materials for food and non-food through further processing to make the raw material as a product can be marketed, used and at the same time increases their income.

Researchers have selected traditional food product that is bahulu. Entrepreneurs who develop these products have received training and assistance from MADA. The researchers chose Bahulu Shoppe run by Mr. Abdul Hamit bin Majid and Mrs. Norma Binti Husin located at Jalan Syed Alwi, Kangar, Perlis. Business was developed in 2006. This company now has been the number one bahulu supplier around Perlis and Kedah northern. They also manage any traditional food such as kerepek, dodol, wajik and others. At the same time they also have several competitors for their business. Now this company has around 15 employees that work in this company. The company also provides a service booking of the traditional food for festive according to the customer preference. At the same time they also provide the package traditional food for any event want to be held.
