(1) Assuming that Tariq Kahn takes the offered position, he faces many human
resources, cultural, and related issues that he will need to address and resolve if he is

decreased a lot

68 team members from 27 different countries, speak 18 different languages
Team members segregated into language groups, language barriers exist
among them and few communications with different language groups
➢ Team member don’t have same level of fluency or comfort in English, so
some of members which have poor English skills have few problems and
perhaps don’t even understand the speakers in the meeting

Members are from 4 different time zone and have different work week and holiday
Team members ranged in age from 22 to 61 years, and the average age is 39 years ,
there may be some gaps among them

Three top leaders of the team can’t determine and reach a consensus on what the
problems are, for example, they have different opinion of why their sales
decreased last year
Worldwide sales targets down into regions, then regional managers further
divided the regional target among constituent countries, however, the managers
refuse and shirk responsibilities to take the challenges and set easy and
conservative goals for them to achieve, for example, the regional manager in
middle-east Asian don’t want to take responsivity of Saudi Arabia which is the
largest country in that region

There are some communication problems and contradictions among the three top
team leaders, for example the poor preference last year is lack of communication
of the two leaders
There are no organization culture and cohesion in the team, , team members don’t
care about the company and don’t have a same goal and pursue, for example, the
team member don’t know the bad preference of the company last year and don’t
know what he works for
