Abstract: The Business Analyst is responsible for a full range of activities which ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of the business unit. They would oversee projects of the team and help with workflow, while ensuring quality of work from the team. They would have to manage a team that consists of 4 to 5 members. The Business Analyst will track and analyze business trends and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact the company.
Step 1
Purpose:
The Business Analyst is responsible for a full range of activities which ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of the business unit. The Business Analyst will design and document workflow and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness. The Business Analyst will track and analyze business unit trends and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact the unit. The Business Analyst will be a Project Manager and lead a number of key projects for the business unit and the company. The main purpose of a Business Analyst will be to provide management and other stakeholders with information in order to address business issues. This information often leads to an improvement in organizational structures and processes.
Step 2
Essential Functions:
• Project Management
• Meet deadlines, develop work plans, Coordinate projects, and activities
• Business analysis
• Review business requirements, identify and maximize opportunities, and prepares routine reports
• Quality assurance
• Ensures quality measures, conduct regular tests of projects, and train team members
Each aspect is necessary in order to ensure all projects are accurate and completed on time, which is vital to being an effective business analyst.
