JEMA Business Summit
What went right?
The JEMA Business Summit was a well-planned event. The organizers were able to get the perfect venue, best set of speakers, most interesting and relevant topics, and a really good host. Aside from that, they were also able to have a smooth flow of program, no major technical problems; speakers were also able to get inside the university on time. JEMA Business Summit happened at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium, which was a really big venue; the capacity was I think around 800 – 1,000. They were also able to get the best set of speakers. Listed below were the speakers and their topics.
Speakers, topics, and order of presentation:
Speaker #1: Mr. Ivan Pua, Smartphones Product Manager of Samsung - Digital Transformation
Speaker #2: Ms. Valerie De Los Santos and Larissa Joson, the Brand Managers of Happy Skin - Business Growth and Expansion
Speaker #3: Mr. RJ Ledesma, Founder of Mercato - Disruptive Business Model
Speaker #4: Ms. Kath Cruz-Misa, Brand Activation and Wholesale Manager of Adidas - The New Era of Branding
If one will just listen attentively, the talks were really interesting, relevant, engaging and insightful. My notes were really long because the guest speakers were able to impart practical knowledge and tips on how to be successful in today’s business world.
