Business Valuation and Analysis

The result of my learning style questionnaire shows that I am a reflector. I got 17 for the reflector part and 6, 10 and 8 for activist, theorist and pragmatist separately.

After referring to my previous experience, I agreed with this result mostly.

 My experience in learning how to drive reveals this result well. When I began my driving lessons last year, I was not that rushing into a car and having a try as other students did, I listened carefully what the coach said, and observed closely what he did, and after every class, I would write down all the details I could remember, including the mistakes others made and some "knack" the coach told us. By reflecting at the end of each day, I felt more competent when I engaged in the real practice.

 My two highest marks reveal that I'm a reflector and theorist. I used these two different kinds of learning styles mostly in my life, and my choice was much dependent on the situation. I will take my experience in learning yoga as an example. When I first started my yoga experience, I chose to learn at home. I bought 2 yoga books for beginners and read them carefully, I also searched the Internet for some yoga videos. After analysing all the essential details of the postures, I finally started exercising by myself. However, when I restarted my yoga experience last year, I chose to go to yoga classes. In the class, I often observed what the teacher and others did(I almost forgot everything I got from the books and the radios). So I'd like to say in which way I chose to learn is much dependent on the learning situation, if it is a self learning, I would become a theorist, and if it is group learning, I would be a reflector. But I believe these two kinds of learning styles are interrelated together, when I was reading the yoga books, I was also doing reflection at the same time.
