Dear Recruiting manager at P&G :

I am very interested in applying for the marketing internship position that was listed through the Procter and Gamble website, and confident that my education and mix of experiences are appropriate for the position.

I have completed my liberal arts degree at XX University. While a liberal arts education allowed me to develop a multifaceted worldview, creative thinking and analytical skills, I also acquired comprehensive knowledge of management, marketing, and communications by focusing specifically on business related studies.

Creating own road rather than following road already laid out, my challenging spirit steered me into various experiences. Living abroad in a number of different countries such as United Kingdom, United States and Italy has taught me to appreciate differences, be open, and actively engage.

Through my previous part-time job as a waitress in a restaurant, I developed my abilities to manage multiple tasks in a continually-changing, complex environment and to meet the needs and wants of customers. I honed my leadership skills as a committee member of XX University International Students Society where I made decisions and organized events on behalf of more than 200 members.

A good chemistry between an organization and an employee is essential to create a synergy and I believe my personality and qualifications fit well with P&G where values agility, differences, and unconventional thinking. I also believe that my attraction to brands and inherent interest in people along with above mentioned attributes make me a potential brand manager at P&G.
