Introduction
Understanding the reasoning between critical thinking and ethics is intriguing. Being true to yourself and real to your surrounding will enhance your knowledge tremendously while still observing the quick logic of critical thinking.
Are the principles and rules of critical thinking applicable to ethical reasoning? Why?
Critical thinking is, in fact, applicable to ethical reasoning. Consequences, moral ideas, and obligations are three areas that are to be considered while making decisions. Applying these three areas will allow one to apply critical thinking and create ethical solutions. Thinking critically helps provide the ability to make no bias choices with great consequence. Upon making your decisions with critical thinking, your choices would be more convincing and structured.
If everyone followed the rules and guidelines of logic, would there be a need for ethical decision making? Why?
When thinking critically, logic may not help you view the problem at all views and angles. Your decision may be cloudy, and your judgment will be off a bit. Following the logic sense of decisions is something people lose focus on. Being logic is being loyal true to what you believe and do. It's like having reasoning with no mishaps. So understanding the ethical decision making being logic would not affect your true calling of commitment to understanding basic knowledge of rules and standing by your decisions.
Conclusion:
Reading some texts and understanding the differences between critical thinking and ethics inspired me to challenge myself moving forward in life. Some decisions need structure and a building process. As a person, my logic views are simple if it is not true in wording or in speaking I strongly disagree with anyone's wording. Facts to me are very important because if their facts there goes the logical aspect of any critical thinking with any obstacle thrown in front of you.
