The intention of this paper is to express techniques used in team building. This paper encompasses procedures and means of obtaining, instituting and structuring teams for different projects will be discussed. Teams that are successful rely on each individual team member to contribute their best strength to achieve overall goal and objectives. When selecting candidates for a team project manager should be aware of individual strengths and weakness along with flexibility since affects project outcome. Managers ought to convey their goals his or her individual plainly for the team accompanied by orders from the share holders and upper management to make team members fully aware of project expectations before committing.

Selecting project team members

When deciding who to place on a team, experience is a good quality to have, as it minimizes potential conflicts. Each member chosen should possess skills necessary to fulfill demands of project throughout duration of project. Communication is vital in a team environment and functions better will positive and adaptable workers. Individual skill and expertise without adequate communication skills can adversely impact project. Check availability of the team members to ensure that his or her schedules don't conflict with other outside interest. Laying out team member task and requirements and establishing a welcoming and professional work atmosphere heavily impacts project success. Implementing a reward system helps foster creativity amongst team members and enhances overall team ability. Conflicts can occur between team members of any caliber. It is the job of the project managers to utilize leadership skills when confronting and mediating conflicts or handling grievance as they arise.
