Ethical principles are often combined in ethical frameworks which provide support and guidance for ethical decision making by enabling the important aspects of the situation to be highlighted and evaluated. (Oxford University Press, 2003)
Making ethical decisions is not a solitary activity particularly where such decisions will have an impact on others. Quality patient care relies on a team approach that supports the decision-making of the patient in a professional partnership where their views, wishes and values are respected and acknowledged. (Boatright, J. R. (2012)
My Ethical framework is Dependability. It started when I was in 7TH grade. My mom was notorious for being late. I could never figure out why we always arrived when most of the food was gone for a picnic or walked in late for a movie or seeing my family come in late for a play. I always asked to leave early just so we could get there right after the event started. This was a building block for me. I used to joke that she would be late for her own funeral. I was kinda right on that one. But like I said this is my basis for my ethical make up. I feel that if a person shows up to work 15 minutes early or on time then they are dependable. If that person complete there work in the same manner and actually shows a passion for it then they are dependable. In a nut shell if you show up and do your work and you can be depended on to be “the Man” when your needed. I use this in my everyday life not just for work but for daily living as well so I can be a role model for my kids as well.
I compared my approach to the reading and I think that this is mentiond but not well
