"Every aspect of management in the modern age relies heavily on information to thrive"(Adeoti-Adekeye, 1997). Information is a vial resource required in order to improve further resources. It is the binding element that keeps a company together; it is an intangible product which differs from most of other tangible consumers.
Managers cannot practice their role in an effective way without the right information, as they are faced with fast, highly changing and sometimes even more complicated situations and environments, where they highly require applicable information in order to support decision making and lower their uncertainty (Adeoti-Adekeye, 1997).
Awareness of decision types at various organizational levels is necessary in order to provide appropriate information.
As we know MIS works as a valuable tool for management in a company or an organization, as it provides rapid and easily accessible quality information and specific answers for management problems usually through computer simulations. Based on the significance of the information in the strategic management process, it is fair to say that MIS forms the essence of management.
When dealing with decision making, the results of decisions are always yet to come and are mostly hard to predict. Nevertheless, it is possible to forecast it with different levels of certainty. Usually this forecasting is a hypothetical inquiry for goal seeking purposes, it might generate options through formation of decision borders, or for a better view for upcoming status.
