Media influences – customers are highly influences by what they have seen on the screen and then they usually buy those products, which they think are popular.
The history of the stripes trend:
Stripes on the cloths - it's simple, but fascinating as well. This fashion trend was brought by the sailors 150 years ago. Due to the fact that those profession was always been respected and sailors associated with brave people, this type of the clothes become to be popular among the lots of people. However, some women thought that stripes of the clothes could make them looks fat, anyway that was not true. A horizontal strip helps to emphasize the beauty of female body shape.
The popularity of the marine style stripes on the clothes was brought because everybody liked the military style. Therefore, they think that they looks more glamorous and fashionable.

The peak of popularity for this trend was at 2010 due to the fact that the famous singer of that time- Hayley Williams was always wearing striped t-shirts or jeans on her concerts. Usually it was black and white stripes, which actually linked to the philosophy of her songs. Her fans usually wearied the same outfit not only for her concerts but in the real life as well.
