Background of the Study

Corkboard has been in the market for quite some time now. This has been used by many teachers, employees and even students. They could post important information so that it could be easily seen and remembered.

This works best to those who are committed to stressful jobs since they could hardly manage their time and schedules.

This proposal generally aimed for lessening problems with regard to improper waste management pertaining to the feathers. Feathers have unpleasant odours to be able to minimize the environmental impact of waste chicken feathers.

Being dependent, producers and manufacturers must also consider the possible outcomes that may occur such as problems or be it benefits.

In here, producers and manufacturers who kept on using corks inconsiderately might find an alternative which could turn to themselves into responsible citizens.

In addition, this work would also solve the significant problem of disposing of the 2.4 million tons of feathers produced each year by the Philippines poultry industry, while doing less damage to the environment.

It aims to find alternative tack board through which the use of much cheaper materials would be implemented or if possible, the use of expensive materials be totally disregarded.

Specifically this proposal aims to answer the following:

• What is the difference between the corkboard and the proposed product (Feather Board)?

• How durable the product is?

This study will be a significant endeavour in promoting good and cheap boards which could be used in the workplace for the motivations of employees. Also, it will also be beneficial to the students and instructors in strategic management, corporate strategies
