Assignment 2
Analyzing jobs offers can be a difficult task for some people, there are several factors such as salary, benefits, commute, workplace culture, and flexibility options that people must think about it. Salary is important, but a high salary does not mean one job opportunity is better than another one.
Money is the first thing that people must consider, they might compare if the future earnings are able to cover their expenses. Moreover, people must analyze different financial aspects of certain jobs. Some companies offer health insurance, retirement plans, child-care reimbursement, stock and association options, and a wide range of options more. The second, but not less important is to think about the company culture. People must search for job opportunities where they would be comfortable and happy to work, work commitment will improve people performance and it will improve finances in the long run.
Costs must be evaluated carefully because if the company does not offer some coverage for things like insurance, people have to cover those cost by themselves. They should look for the better plan to fit them and which one is better for their lifestyle. On the other hand, retirement plans are highly important to analyze even if the worker is a young person. People who want to have savings for the future with retirement plans should search for companies with a good 401K or 403B because retirement plans are tax deductible, so they will be saving money on taxes. In addition, workers should look for matching contributions which in other words is free money.
