There are four dimensions of Human Resources Management areas which can relate to the author assignment. The four outline of dimension in Human Resources which are as follow:
1.Managing the Human Resource Environment
2.Acquiring and Preparing Human Resources
3.Assessment and development of Human Resources
4.Compensating Human Resources
1.Managing the Human Resources Environment
In an organization, Human Resources helps to achieve long term goals and objectives by managing both internal and external environmental factors. This environment should be in line with the organizations strategies and objectives. There a 3 sub topics which help to create a positive environment, they are:
1a) Linking HRM Practice to Company’s business strategy
Human Resources define its practices (to recruit, train, reduce, and compensate employees) based on the individual organization Business strategy. HRM practices play an influential role in motivating employees to exhibit favorable attitudes and behaviors, which are required to support and implement the competitive strategy of an organization whether the organization is going to prosper or downsize.
1b) Ensuring that HRM practices comply with federal, state, and local laws
Different countries have different set of rules and regulations, whereas some of them are based on Equal Employment Opportunity to protect employees from discriminiation based on race, age and many more. An example of Singapore government encourage the Senior citizens to work for self support which most of us would negotiate about the productivity for the organization, the outcome of employees feedback of working with extra workload
