Frequent policies to promote the development of hydrogen energy

According to Xinhuanet, at the National People's Congress this year, the National People's Congress of the automobile industry submitted a series of proposals for the development of hydrogen fuel vehicles. During the two sessions, hydrogen fuel, an energy-saving, environmentally-friendly, and convenient energy source, was written into the Government Work Report.

On March 26 this year, the Ministry of Industry and Information and other four ministries and commissions issued the "Notice on Further Improving the Financial Subsidy Policy for the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles", proposing that local policies should be improved, and new energy vehicles (new energy buses and fuel cell vehicles) will no longer be used after the transition period. Except for granting subsidies, it is used to support the construction of “short board” infrastructure and supporting operation services for charging (hydrogenation) infrastructure.

2006-2014 is the promotion stage of hydrogen energy and fuel cells in China. According to the Xinhua News Agency quoted by the Chinese government portal website, in 2006 China put hydrogen energy and fuel cells into the National Medium- and Long-Term Science and Technology Development Plan (2006-2020), and proposed to focus on high-efficiency and low-cost fossil energy and Renewable energy hydrogen production technology, cost-effective hydrogen storage and distribution technology, fuel cell based key component preparation and stack integration technology, fuel cell power generation and vehicle power system integration technology, form hydrogen energy and fuel cell technical specifications and standards. In 2006-2014, China introduced a series of policies to promote the use of hydrogen energy and fuel cell vehicles.

Since 2015, China's support for hydrogen energy and fuel cell vehicle policies has increased. In 2015, the Ministry of Finance and other four ministries and commissions issued the "Notice on the Financial Support Policy for the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles in 2016-2020", which explained the subsidy standards for the promotion and application of fuel cell vehicles. In October 2016, China Standardization Researcher and National Hydrogen Energy Standardization Technical Committee jointly released the "Blue Book on China's Hydrogen Energy Industry Infrastructure Development
