Q. 1. Why the needs of the customers are changing so fast and require advanced technologies and development capabilities?
Because, the Governments across the world have shown increasing interest in obtaining more and better healthcare for a large fraction of their populations, while being more vigilant about the costs. Additionally, the prevalence of chronic diseases has increased multi-fold because of changing life-style of people and increasing tolerance of disease-causing bacteria against the medicines.
Q. 2. Why does GEHS have to focus on providing such advanced technology at such low costs?
Because, increasing no. of people are unable to afford the treatment costs and more importantly, the competitors i.e. Philips, Siemens etc. are frequently coming out with cutting-edge technology at more & more affordable prices.
Q. 3. Why are competitors investing heavily in developing such advanced technology at low costs?
Because, a large percentage of world population earns limited income and can't afford expensive treatment even though they desire to. And, that's why companies were not able to increase their market share and had reached at saturation point. To achieve the same, GEHS created a multi-staged NPI process platform with numbered stages representing milestones from product conceptualization to its end-of-life.
Q. 4. Why does GEHS need to provide a NPI process platform to meet the evolving needs of customer and maintain its growth trajectory?
Because, with ever growing prevalence of chronic diseases and increasing ratio of older to younger people, it becomes extremely important for healthcare companies to continuously evolve and come out with better prevention, diagnostic and treatment techniques.
