Basic literature review has been carried out to discuss various issues on retail market globalisation. The acquired knowledge through this report is solely an attempt to develop the current understanding and prospective of the retailing business at global scale.
The case study report mainly concentrates on diversifying the aspects of different strategies and inputs opted by three model companies and been compared to their limitation potential. This thereby enhances our current understanding of retail globalisation and its impact when in world crisis.

Retailing is a localised commercial sector composed of small-scale operations. Before 1990, small retailers played an important role in the growth of the economy for the developed countries but lately the large retail operators came into the lime light for the development of the economies. Due to the Increase in the number of retailers doing the international operations started, these retailers no longer prevail in the domestic market if they remain as important commercial entities.
