1. Executive Summary

The purpose of this business plan is to raise $140,000 for the development of a Heartlanders’ Gym at Redhill Housing Estate, one of the populated Housing Development Boards (HDB) in Singapore. The business idea is ignited by 4 MBA students from University of Adelaide. The business plan includes vision, strategy, operations and expected financials for the next three years.

1.1 Type of Business

Heartlanders’ Gym is a Neighbourhood membership-based fitness centre offering basic state-of-art fitness equipments, high standard of hygiene environment with basic facilities at an affordable pricing for middle class working professionals and senior adults to shape up and get fitter from their busy lifestyle.

1.2 Management Team

The business is run by 4 MBA students. All has more than 10 years of diverse experiences in sales, marketing, finance, and operations. Edwin from the industry will be operating the business full time. Cecilia will take on the marketing role, Thava will manage the finance and Nicholas will support Edwin in business operations.

1.3 Products and Competition

The Heartlanders’ Gym will be located at Block 75D, 01-88~100 Redhill Housing Estate. It is a fitness centre providing fitness and training programs to the residents of 5000 households comprises of young parents and elderly, ranging from 14 to 80 years of age. Each of our fitness programs will be personalized to the needs of the individuals based
