I shall now talk about several visitor management systems.

Firstly, they have an interesting queue management system. The ticket booths were located at the fringe of the studios. This provided a slew of benefits. I could feel the Hollywood atmosphere as I waited to purchase the tickets and coupled with several information on Hollywood placed strategically near the ticketing booths, queuing up was a breeze. The tourists were given a separate queue so that the tour guide can do a “group check in:” for the entire tour group. By doing so, the tourists groups would not clog up the normal queue lines.

Secondly, visitor education and interpretation. Hollywood educates its visitors how to behave and what to do for its SHREK 4D show. It engage several staff members to give a verbal briefing on what to do, what not to do doing the show. In addition to that, there was a video showed to the entire audience on the procedures needed to be done by them to get the full impact of the 4D show such as by wearing the specially given glasses.

Hence all in all, I feel that the management has in placed great software. Their staff is well trained in all areas and is able to give advice, in other areas that are not within their scope of duty. However, I feel that improvement can be made on the hardware of the park. This includes the building of different types of rides are not as common as the rides that can be found in other theme parks.

By improving on the above, Hollywood can truly be a must visit destination for the state in California.
