Part 1: INTRODUCTION

1. Introduction

I am investigating to start a small business and I want it to become a viable one in the real world among the ever changing environment. Necessary, sufficient and reliable knowledge and information are needed in making a good decision. Skills and experiences are also needed in order to get the successful business. I need to have the right skills to run my own business. Apart from skills and personal development, I must have enough knowledge in legal and financial matters that may impact on the chosen business.

1.2 Objectives

For studying the different types of ventures, I know about different types of business. When I am writing a business plan, I understand how to present the idea using relevant criteria. I understand what skills are suitable for the chosen business and what personal development are needed in the business.

Part 2: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

In the view of this assignment, I am starting a small business. I chose the hotel type of business with partnership. There are five partners in my partnership including me. Each of the partner will invest 60,000 £. Before opening the business, I need to learn the laws and need to watch the rival hotel. For opening the hotel, I must study the different types of ventures and then I need to prepare a business plan. To open the new business, I must get the necessary permits and licenses from the government and I need to find the resources and contact with the suppliers.
