Essay I
How will the MBA degree help you achieve your short and long-term career goals? (please limit your answer to 350 words.)
As a permanent resident of Canada, my short-term goal in the foreseeable future is to land a job involving business consulting, marketing or international business, all of which are areas very close to my heart. In the process, I will use all the resources at my disposal to gain a deeper knowledge of how things are managed and operated in the quintessentially Canadian corporate culture. And my long-term career objective is to build on my previous wide-ranging experience and have a successful career by becoming a professional manager or even establishing a company of my very own.
Without a doubt, the MBA degree on offer at your world-class university is a must in order to make my objectives a reality. As a top-notch business school in the entire North America, your school is known the world over boasting your global reach, innovative programs, and diverse perspectives. Already with an MBA degree and diverse experience under my belt, I think your MBA program offers exactly what I can get my teeth into and is a perfect choice for me to better my game even further. From your program, I will quite undoubtedly come away with the most up-to-the-minute know-how and expertise in this particular field and will be equipped with all the transferrable skills that will benefit me for the rest of my life.
Most importantly, your strongly connected alumni network and a wealth of job and internship opportunities would be crucially important for me to realize my career goals and objectives, long-term or short-term. I am a firm believer that only by associating with and talking to the great minds can we truly improve and take our business and management skills to new levels. I, therefore, very much look forward to meeting high-caliber colleagues and classmates equally enthusiastic about business and administration. Hopefully, we can improve together as a result.
