- A clear vision, mission and value have been set to help Hubbard to follow and grow on its direction for many years till today. (According to Vision (2011), Hubbard's vision is "to nourish the nation"; mission is "customer-focused creative ideas and for growing and inspiring people"; values are "caring, honesty, creativity, accountability, and passion for Hubbard's"; objective is to provide high-quality and response to our society).
- Dick's leadership style assists Hubbard's development and operations. He has leaded this company with his heart and believes, and has built up a supportive company culture and environment. Also, he has shared the rewards of company success with its stakeholders, importantly his employees.
- The organizational culture in the workplace aims on "family" and relationship building between employees and management. For example, in the company, people only call each other's first-name. This informal approach has built up family atmosphere in the workplace.
- People in the company are treated with respects and supports.
- Staff turnover are low and employees are the key assets in the company. This means that the company has many old staffs who are skilled, well-trained, and understand company's operation and development.
- Employees (Maori and pacific islanders) understand Hubbard's value of important of family, as it is the same value as their cultures.
- Dick has gained knowledge and experiences from his previous life in "Outward Bound" course and in a fruit factory as a food technologist and manger. These benefited Hubbard's business on its operation and management.
- Hubbard has successfully built up positive reputation on its brand image, which supports its communities, response to society and consumers.
