- In what ways might Monique’s parents have contributed to her lack of commitment to paralegal work?
Answer: I believe Monique’s parents have contributed to her lack of commitment to paralegal work by pre-painting or deciding her future for her. Her mother always tell her that being a paralegal would definitely give her status and make other people think she is somebody important and then her father would always tell her as a paralegal, it would be a secure job because people will always sue each other. Once Monique become a paralegal, she realized that this job is way different from what she thought or her parents make her believe it would be. Maybe if Monique’s parents never pre-paint her future, she might have found a better job or future that she will actually enjoy and loves.
