What is human resource management?
The Human Resource Management is part of the world economical field. The term makes reference to the way where a group of people is lead by certain rules and guidelines making them more efficient and effective when implementing their skill at the company. There are some expectation from the HRM regarding the employees and the main three are:
ñ Make use of the talents, skills, and abilities of the employees to achieve or reach the company objectives including the operational ones.
ñ Provide a secure, trusty and honest work environment where the people feel free to comment (without any retaliation) and to contribute knowing that their voice are hear.
ñ Finally, it helps to ensure that all procedures, coaching, evaluations, resignations, internal and external laws are follow by every employee including the management staff at all time and take the necessary decision when any of the law or rules are broken.
In these days, the HRM is more than hiring and firing it is a section where people look for answers to their benefits, include employee development, training, and more impacting directly the organization strategic plan. There is a challenge in this era for the HRM and it is the technology advance and constant changes of it. Advance technology gives the organizations the opportunity to save time and money. Even the companies can make some interviews by phones and some candidates can be hire even without a face to face interview (well I mean they can use the technology to see the person trough a camera attach to a computer).
