Human Resource Managers play an important role in balancing the workforce of organization, business sector, and personnel. Human Resource can go by different names Human Resources Management (HRM) or simply Human Resources (HR). This paper will discuss the topic of what human resources management is, what the prime function of human resource management is, and what is the role of human resources management in an organization’s strategic plan.
Human Resource Management is defined as individuals who work for an organization with the main purpose of managing employees with the company as well as managing the inter-personal relationships Human Resources Management must complying with the State and Federal Labor Laws. The Human Resources Management will also serve as the primary liaison with the employees and the labor board. Human resources responsibility are the hiring, training, safety, Wellness, benefits, employees motivation, assessment, communication and rewarding of employees, as well as overseeing the daily organizational leadership and culture. Human resource management will set the objective for the organization, and provide structure to execute policies and regulations.
The functions of Human Resources Management are divided into two parts the primary which covers human resource planning, Equal employment opportunity, staffing (recruitment and selection), compensation and benefits, employees labor relation, Health, safety and security, and Human resource development, sand the secondary functions are organization and job design, “comprised of the staffing, development, motivation, and maintenance functions.
