Rose -What are the services that Multimedios offer?

Interview- Entertainment, and information about news and sports for example we have the elections that goes to news priority and the news will takeoff air time of entertainment section so we can give the news the elections, or when the Chapo escaped from jail will takeoff air time from entertainment so we will give the information.

Rose- Do you have a section for publicity for companies here in Monterrey?

Interview- Yes we have free time, and the department of sales take care of that, they will sell you a spot so you can announce a service or product that you want, there are spots that last 30 minutes where you can announce whatever you like or to have and entertainment spot.

Rose- How much time do you give for spots ?

Interviewed- The spots last around 20 to 30 seconds, we have also the ones that are called infomercials those last around 5 to 10 minutes, Multimedios has two channels Multimedios (original) and one that is two hours after, for example if the section of sports is at 2 p.m. In the other channel of multimedios will be at 4 p.m. in this channel of Multimedios we have a lot of free time where you can announce your services such as a/c maintenance, a restaurant or makeup services for your events, in Multimimedios (original) we also have this service, in this case companies such as Tecate ask us for publicity and we give them a deal, where Tecate will have certain spots at different hours.

We have also to follow rules and have restrictions like we cannot announce junk food from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. because of the kids, but it’s weird because we do not have that restrictions for beer and condoms, people think that we don’t have orders but we do like at 12 p.m. we have to air the national anthem and that makes people to change the channel ad I think we are the only one that makes entertainment of 3 hours.

Rose- When this law got in action?

Interviewed- I think this law got in action like one year ago, I don’t know the exact date

Rose- Did this affect the company financially?

Interviewed- No it didn’t because as we have costumers, we have a lot more waiting for a spot, television is the most trustable media for example if you see something on the internet you will think twice if its real or something like that, television gives you security.

Rose- How do you ensure de quality of your services?

Interviewed- there are a lot of ways, one of them is the law, there is a company that check us and if they see that something on the services or spots are not good they tell us so will have to obey do it different in a correct way so if we are doing good costumers are still going to come because we live of costumers and if we don’t have costumers, there’s no business in Saltillo they have a channel where they want to do things like us (funny) but they can’t because that’s the way we do it and its natural in rating we are the number 1 and then televise and last Azteca, and we always win in everything, costumers, rating, etc.
