Individual Assignments and Class Discussions (Section B)
Please Note: These are individual assignments. Each course participant should submit answers individually on or before the date on which the class presentation is scheduled.

All course participants are required to come to class having read all cases for this course.
The cases will be discussed in class and students are required to participate in class discussions. The questions posed in class sessions will not necessarily be the assignment questions.
The questions I raise will be designed to alert you to the issues to be looked at. As I explained in the first session, case studies are designed to develop your critical thinking and analyses under different scenarios.
Individual Written Assignments: P & G Japan: The SK-II Globalization Projects
(i) Koyel Bayan : What are the important international business issues captured in the case study?
(ii) Sravya Shakuntala : What issues would Paolo DeCesare need to consider before deciding on recommendations in the SK-II presentation to the global leadership team (GLT)?
(iii) Kumari Sonia : Does SK-II have the potential to become a global brand within Procter & Gamble's worldwide operations? Why? Why not?
(iv) Sharath Nair : Which of the three strategies should Paolo DeCesare recommend to the GLT? What are the benefits and risks in adopting each of the three strategies?
(v) Madhusudanaan : How should Paolo DeCesareoperationalisethe strategy which he selected [liaise with person doing question (IV) to identify the option selected]?
(vi) Sameer Bhiwapurkar : Discuss the implications for P&G's new post-2005 organization from adopting the strategy selected by Paolo
